Hi, I’m Jessika!

 A proud mom of five boys, and the creative behind Busy Hands Brite Minds.

This business is more than just a brand, it’s personal. It was inspired by our youngest son, who was born a micropreemie and spent an emotional 8 months in the NICU. That season of our lives was full of uncertainty, hospital monitors, and quiet prayers. When we finally brought him home, we were overjoyed, but also faced with the reality of developmental delays and the extra support he’d need to grow, learn, and thrive.

As a mom, all I wanted was something I could do with him; something fun, interactive, and meaningful that would help him catch up at his own pace. I searched for tools that were both educational and engaging, but nothing felt quite right. So, I started creating my own. I pieced together activities he could touch, explore, and repeat;  all designed to build confidence while making learning feel like play.

Everything I make is hand-made with love, and designed to support early development, spark joy, and give parents simple, hands-on ways to engage with their children.
